We hope you are all well and safe.
We are pleased to announce that Ux Beauty salon re-open
We have been closely monitoring the Government guidelines towards making changes to the salon to ensure that we can offer our services in the safest way possible. As such, we have implemented the following changes to make your salon experience more comfortable and safe:
- Appointments only – We request that you call us on 02037158118 and make an appointment for the service that you require. Unfortunately, we would not be able to serve walk-in clients. However, we recommend that you call us or use our website to check our availability if you are in the vicinity.
-No waiting area - Customers are not allowed to wait inside the salon but we will make arrangements to place waiting chairs outside if possible. For this reason, we ask you to be on time for your appointment.
- Safety measure - Temperature checks – as a precaution we will check your temperature when you enter the salon, If your temperature is 37.8 or above we will make arrangements to reschedule your appointment. We ask our clients to kindly reschedule/cancel any appointments if you have flu or flu like symptoms.
Our customers must wear a mask so we advise you to bring your own. If you do not, you will be able to purchase a mask from us for £2.
We will also have a register to note down your name and details to ensure we can contact you if necessary
-Facilities temporarily closed – we have closed our toilet facilities temporarily. We will offer hand sanitiser if you wish to cleanse your hands.
-Refreshments - We will not be able to provide any drinks such as water, tea or coffee. Please feel free to bring your own if you wish.
-Product testers – customers will not be allowed to handle the testers for products. However, if you would like any information on the products, our beauty therapists are more than happy to help.
-Children will not be allowed - Please do not bring your children with you to your appointment for health and safety reasons.
-Cancellations - As we will be operating an appointments only basis, we have limited availability and flexibility. We therefore request that you cancel your appointment at least 24 hours before your appointment if you no longer require the service. Failure to turn up or cancel your appointment at least 24 hours prior to your service may result in you being charged 20% of your service.
-Team effort - All our team members have had up to date training and will have full PPE. We will constantly clean and sanitise our hands and our equipment in between appointments.
Many salons are expected to raise their prices due to the costs of PPE and other health and safety measures in place however our prices will remain the same.
We understand that this is a difficult time for everyone and appreciate that we are adapting to new ways over the last few months. We want to assure you that these changes have been made in the best interest of yours and our health.
